Information we collect
RentFlow collects information needed to provide the service, such as your name, contact details, booking information and account details.
How we use your information
We use your information to manage bookings, operate RentFlow, provide support and communicate with you about the service.
Marketing communications
Booking confirmations, waiver copies, and service messages are sent to you as part of providing the service you asked for — they do not depend on marketing consent. Where a check-in form offers to send you specials or event news, that box is unticked by default and only checking it yourself signs you up. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by asking the business you booked with, or by using our data request form. Marketing consent given to one business does not apply to any other business on RentFlow.
Payments
Where online payment processing is enabled for a booking, payments are processed securely by Paystack. RentFlow does not receive or store your full card or banking details.
Sharing information
We only share information where needed to provide the service, process payments, comply with the law, or support a booking with the relevant business. A business you book with can only see its own customers' information, never another business's.
Retention
We keep booking and account information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymise it. See the platform Data Retention Schedule for details.
Your information
You have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or an objection to our processing of your personal information, and to withdraw any consent you've given, subject to applicable law. Submit a request through our Data Request form, or contact us directly below. You may also complain to South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe we have not handled your information properly.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and restrict access to authorised users and service providers.
